Powered by GoogleSuch a beautiful property. Our children go annually and it's the one thing they truly look forward to in the summer. They keep the kids busy, make sure they never have time to get home sick. And teach them how it be independent and self reliant. Highly recommend!!
Beautiful vintage camp, set back in the foothills of northeastern Alabama. Two private lakes and wonderful foliage in the fall.
One of the most amazing places on earth! I am beyond thrilled that a place where I made so many wonderful memories is around for my boys to enjoy! The staff are amazing! My youngest got sick and was taken care of by the most awesome nurses! This place is a blessing to so many! The confidence and growth I see in my boys once they return home is immeasurable! So grateful for such a fantastic summer experience among the Pines!
My wife Sarah went to Camp Mac and has long told wonderful stories of her experiences and lifelong friends she made there. This year was the first year we sent two of our kids (age 9 and 7) and we started with the short mini term (6 days). We knew they would have a good time and at pickup they immediately asked to come for the 4 week session next year! We will definitely send them back for a longer session and look forward to many years of experiences and memories made at Camp Mac. The counselors, staff, kids and families are wonderful!
I was at Camp Mac beginning at 10, 65 years ago. My memories are as wonderful today as they were then. I went for 4 years and was a Junior Councilor my last year. It was the best time of my young years. Having the privilege of being there with Mr and Mrs McBride. It has always been a great part of my life and things I learned there I still do today. I was Patsy Putman and would love to connect with campers from then. Send your children..they will thank you the rest of their lives.
