Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles

Camp Lakota is Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles' overnight camp at Frazier Park, set at about 5,700 feet in the Los Padres National Forest. Campers bunk in forest cabins and take part in horseback riding, swimming in the camp pool, ziplining, archery, high and low ropes and campfires, in what the council describes as a supportive, nurturing environment. Sessions are organised for troops, families and individual campers across a June 15 - August 23, 2026 summer window and are booked through the council's online events calendar; the site is also available year-round for troop and family rentals.

Great camp but I really wish Hillside would develop into at the very least Platform tents like at Camp Bonnie Brae. My girl already has bad joints and was hurting by the end of the week having to sleep in a regular pop up tent without enough room for mattresses for each girl. Excited to come back with the service unit in October.

Wonderful campgrounds and modern basic cabins for the young ones. I took my daughter for a 4 day family camp during summer and she had a terrific experience. Great counselors, very good food, archery, arts and crafts, ziplining, horseback riding, pool time and smores by the fire. I highly recommend it. Girls are well taken care of. I only wish there was more activities in between the big events. There was too much downtime before the next activity.

This camp is absolutely beautiful and well run. Directions and rules provided were excellent. Camp seems safe and secure. Cabins and facilities are clean and well kept. The programs were fun and well run. The girls get a good sense of responsibility and caring for nature, leadership and their scoutmates.

When I was younger, I visited this place and had a terrific time. The restoration work done after the fires is so cutting-edge and gorgeous. At the open house, everyone was incredibly friendly. I want to visit this place!

I went here when I was little and had a great time. The updates after the fires are so modern and look great. Everyone at the open house was so nice. I wish I could go here!
