★Paulina GarciaThey discriminate against children with disabilities. One of the instructors discriminated against my son, who has autism, by claiming that he had physically assaulted her. We were always present during his classes and never witnessed any aggression from my son toward her; in fact, whenever we asked her at the end of a session how he had behaved, she would reply that everything went very well. Yet, a few days later, they cancelled my son's classes due to this alleged aggression against her. Furthermore, they consistently refused to show us the video footage of the supposed incident—a clear lack of professionalism on the part of both the instructor and the YMCA administration. It’s all so great and finally my husband and I can work out with the excellent childcare.
★Mo RoVery upsetting experience at the pool. I was allowed to be in the pool, but a staff member named Kate rushed me out aggressively when a senior class was starting. I only asked for 5 minutes and was on the ramp, not disrupting the class, but she refused and rushed me while I was holding my baby. I almost slipped and fell. Her behavior was rude, unsafe, and discriminatory, with no concern for my or my child's safety. Management needs to seriously address staff conduct and training. I would not recommend getting a membership here-go somewhere else.
