Camp Kulaqua is an ACA-accredited overnight Christian camp in High Springs, north Florida, run as part of the Camp Kulaqua Retreat Center. Campers are grouped into Cub Camp (ages 7–10), Junior Camp (ages 10–13) and Teen Camp (ages 13–17), each offered across three week-long sessions between late May and late June, with a separate seven-day Kulaqua Horse Adventure for girls ages 13–17 for which basic horse experience is suggested. The camp is supported by Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventist churches, whose active members receive a discounted rate. Registration runs through UltraCamp and opens to the public in January; automated payment plans, a $20 multi-week discount and up to $250 off for bringing new friends are offered.

★★★★Jo DaltonIt's a beautiful place to visit and walk through the boardwalk to enjoy nature. The boardwalk is very slippery no matter what kind of shoes you're wearing... keep that in mind especially if it has been raining. Those of us with sandals and sneakers both had trouble through some areas on the boardwalk. Lots of insects so bring bug repellent. The water snakes are out with all this drought so be mindful of them when swimming. The wave pool is fun. The lifeguards on duty keep a diligent watchful eye on the kids which was very comforting. They have tubes to use in the wave pool and in the lazy river but the lazy river was not working the day we went. Looks like a lot of maintenance is needed throughout the park. One of the bathroom stalls has a lock that doesn't work, however the bathrooms are kept clean. The zoo has cramped spaces for the animals.. and the zipline/swing thing is scary. You have to be mindful of your trajectory when using that swing because of the platform below it. Overall it's a nice visit for a lazy day and it is enjoyable and laid back.
