Camp Easterseals UCP is an ACA-accredited, fully accessible camp in New Castle, Virginia (Craig County, in the Roanoke area) for children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, operating since 1957 and serving over 400 people a year. Week-long overnight camps serve individuals ages 8 and up, and younger children can attend weekend family camps, with activities including swimming, canoeing, nature walks, arts and crafts, campfires and talent shows.

The years are gone but these hills, river, Arts&Crafts lessons, all kitchen staff and especially lots of special and cutest kids always remain in the special place in my heart. ★★★★★William FloydCamp Easter Seals is a beautiful spot located between two mountains. With a nice creek perfect for canoeing, fishing, wading too. If you aren't able to get in no worry, they also have a great in-ground pool too. Hiking, archery, climbing wall, horse back riding, arts and crafts, zip lines, all for children with disabilities...and they love it!!!! Nice to let all children, have the opportunity to meet others who just want to be kids, and have a great time! My wife and I were councilors there for quite a few years, she's been a TVI, for the school system for 31 years, and working with the visually impaired group was great fun!
★★★★★Scotty AdamsCamp Easter Seals is the best place to go camping at during all seasons. The counselors there are really nice and friendly and always there for their campers. The head counselor Alex Berg is super awesome and keeps the campground clean. There's always something fun to be doing like horseback riding and canoeing. I've been going there for 4 years and had such a total blast. That's how I met my buddy Will Daniel who was like my big brother at camp.
