this was the best experience of my life. i had so much fun learning about the lord and had a great first time experience. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. It was judgment free and it helped u to stay disciplined. It was very different and new for me and i enjoyed it. I definitely recommend going here and i will be attending again! The songs, food, events, worshipping, scriptures, life lessons, desserts, etc was so amazing. Yall should try it!!
We brought our church (80 adults, 40 kids) to Camp Eagle for fun getaway, and we had a great time together. Matt, our retreat host, was responsive to my many detailed questions about what to expect, what we could do, and we found the camp met all our needs. He was so personable and friendly, and visited us often to check in on our needs. We had a lot of great device-free downtime together with all the resources/activities the camp provided - campfires, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, fishing. Our proximity to the clean Nueces River was a huge plus. Even with 2 other church groups also occupying the camp, there was plenty for us to do and explore. We would love to come back again!
My church and I went there for 6 days in July, and it was a blast! Would recommend a 10 out of 10! The counselors are super nice, and there are plenty of activities to do. WiFi is weak since it is an UNPLUGGED camp. There is a LOT of walking. Be sure exercise before you go and take water.
Camp Eagle is the BEST! My youth group went during the first session of Summer 2025, and it was fantastic! We had great counselors and sponsors, and a day did not pass where we didn’t have fun. We are most definitely going for a week next year! Thank you to the worship team, Camp Eagle staff, sponsors, and Counselors Chris (jv) and Jasmine (varsity)! P.S, they deserve a raise. Best youth camp experience for me ever!
