Camp Conewago is a Boy Scouts (New Birth of Freedom Council) camp on wooded grounds in New Oxford (Adams County), Pennsylvania, about 10 miles from Gettysburg, with land acquired for Scouting in 1919. It centers on a historic 1920 lodge plus tribe-named cabins used for Scout unit camping and is available for year-round rental. It functions mainly as a troop camping and rental facility rather than a large summer resident camp.

★★Jeffrey HritzThe cabin itself and the grounds were very nice. One of our folks spent a good amount of time cleaning the grease running down the wall from the exhaust fan in the kitchen and scrubbing the kitchen floor but the latrine (mostly the urinal) was absolutely disgusting. We had to purchase a hose and scrubby pads and cleaner to attempt to clean the urinal as you couldn't stand walking into the place. I mean gagging bad! We mentioned something to our POC on the first night there and someone came by and added 2 little air fresheners which did NOTHING! Once we scrubbed the urinal by hand, removed some used toilet paper deposited behind the toilets nd swept and mopped the entire place it was actually tolerable. Last note, only 3 of the 4 showers had a curtain for separation to keep your towel and clothes dry, but wait! That wouldn't matter as there are no benches, hooks or anywhere to set your "stuff" other than on the floor of the stall. We used 3 metal chairs from the dining room and returned them before we left. Just a heads up. A little bit of thought and effort would have gone a long was to this being a glowing review.

★★★Johnny KongI camped here with the Boy Scout Troop on Memorial weekend. There was plenty of space to park which was right next to our camping area. The latrine was semi enclosed ( about a foot cut out around the bottom area with one urinal and a few toilets. This was for the male side. Not sure what the female side has. It was located a few minutes walk from our camp site. There was toilet paper. The camp ground appeared well maintained and flat. There was a very heavy down pour at night but there was minimal water pooled up around our camping area.
