It's a good camp. I've went there since I was all but 5 and it hasn't changed a whole lot. There are a many great features about the camp such as its spaciousness and pond, but sometimes lacks basic amenities. Wifi and cell signal is improving but can be tough if you're a scoutmaster somewhere in camp. Overall, great place to camp just make sure to pack food before you go.

Each year a group of us use this facility for church camp and we love it. It is just good, old fashioned fun, with games, crafts, canoeing, camp fires and chapel services each evening. My whole family is involved and we live being hosted by Camp Buffalo!

If your child hasn't been at the church camp yet , they should. It's the best Christian Camp out in country. Monticello area. Great, reliable, dependable, counsellors, leader, medical and I hear delicious food!

Our Troop visited Camp Buffalo March 23rd-24th, 2018 and had a wonderful experience. In all the camps we've visited in the Midwest, we felt this BSA camp was tops. Excellent archery and rifle/shotgun safety instruction and methods. The camp grounds were well maintained and the firewood was nice and dry! Excellent facilities.

Troop 203 just wrapped up a week at Camp Buffalo. Everything was organized and flowed smoothly. Merit Badge classes and Rank classes were very informative. Scouts had a great time. Can't wait to come back. Camp Director and Staff were out of the world! Great Job!
