Christ-centered overnight Baptist camp near Georgetown, founded in 1949, offering horseback riding, swimming, boating and canoeing, hiking and field sports. Summer sessions run in June and July for various age groups, with an evangelistic emphasis serving fundamental Baptist churches. The camp joined Ironwood's Family of Camps in 2023.

The speakers are chosen with care. My family has been going to Camp Assurance for the past 7 years.... junior camp, teen camp, youth retreats, ladies’ retreats, and men’s retreats. We have always come back home refreshed, with lots of stories and good memories.

I didn't even know this place to existed I'm so happy it is there and it does exist still. I'm sure they're still doing the amazing work that they did back in the day.
★Maren SimensonI didn’t like that I couldn’t get ahold of my stepdaughter. We were told that she would be able to call and vice versa. When my husband and her mom called to speak to her, it wasn’t so simple. They seemed to not want her to talk to them. They took her phone at the beginning of camp which is fine but she wasn’t able to call. We ended up picking her up early due to uneasy feelings. There was no air in the cabins at 98 degrees one day and no locks on the cabins which was a safety concern.

I want to thank the staff and the counselors for the fun experience they given us campers and the pastor for his teaching of the bible and letting us campers give the chance to talk to someone about our faith to God. I think this year I have found myself and finding that I don't need to worry about not going to heaven because I know I am I am god child and that won't change because I love him and he loves me no matter what my nasty heart wont stop him for claiming me as his child or anyone else because we are his and we are claimed into heaven that is what I have been shown and that want change.
