CalColor Academy is a fine-art school for youth ages 4-18 that runs full-day summer art camps in San Jose from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Age-tailored sessions immerse campers in drawing and painting, clay and craft making, and culture and history, with a roughly 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio. ★★★★★Adelyn LeeMy 7 yo daughter has been participating in CalColor Academy’s summer program for the last two summers and has been loving it. This is her third summer doing the summer weekly camp. We usually go over the weekly themes with her and she picks two weeks that she wants to do. The teachers have all been very nice and the art that they do is amazing! Her creativity definitely gets pushed in comparison to what is offered at public school and they get to use different art mediums that’s not offered at her regular school. Overall great experience!
