The Buffalo Zoo's education department runs Summer Zoo Camp, a themed day camp in which campers visit zoo exhibits, meet animal ambassadors and take part in crafts, STEAM activities and nature play. Six week-long sessions for ages 6 to 12 run from early July to mid-August on themes such as Animal Superpowers, Habitat Heroes and Wacky and Weird Wildlife, with drop-off at 8:45 am and pick-up between 2:45 and 3:00 pm; a separate three-day, half-day Cub Camp (8:40 am to 12:15 pm) introduces ages 4 to 6. Registration is online through CampDoc, zoo members get a discounted rate, and scholarship applications are accepted. The zoo is an AZA-accredited nonprofit at 300 Parkside Ave.

Powered by GoogleWe have taken advantage of many of the things the education department had to offer at the zoo. Both cub club and the preschool have been amazing experiences for my kiddo. Highly recommend! What better way to learn than at the zoo!
We will never stop taking the kids to the zoo because the learning never stops.
