Powered by GoogleBeautiful place where one can just go into the wild and spend time with amazing wildlife! :) They have great horses😍 Went there twice for horse riding lessons. Highly recommend!
My daughter and son have attended their summer camps for two years in a row! This past year, they did it with their cousins. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of these summer camps. Every day, our kiddos would come home with pure joy and excitement! The staff are fantastic! We are so appreciative of these camps, which allow our kiddos to connect with the horses, learn how to care for them, learn how to ride them, and connect with nature. Thank you all so much for providing us with this unique experience. We can't wait to come next year!
Went to a birthday party here and the kids had a blast. There was even a place in one of the buildings that the parents were able to set up food, crafts and cake when the kids were done riding horses. All the employees we interacted with seemed very nice.
Buffalo Run Farm is where my riding journey has begun and is now a home to my handsome horse. I started riding with BRF November of 2019 and have been very involved with the farm. Instructors are very bright and positive. Horse trainers are very knowledgeable. Farm owner is extremely humble and down to earth. This place feels like a second home/family to me and it is my happy place in State College. I went from no riding experience to jumping up to 2’-9” to competing for the first time and buying my beautiful horse (from BRF) all within a year. They really do put the time and effort to teach you and/or care for your horses. No favoritism. All horses are equal and all are equally loved as their own. It is a beautiful farm with amazing people. I will always be grateful for BRF Family.
Buffalo Run Forms of wonderful barn in a Serene and Scenic location just outside State College. Their staff and volunteers are even more wonderful. I coordinated with them a lot this past summer for work-related events for at-risk youth. They were so accommodating, flexible and welcoming. All the youth loved their experience! The staff and volunteers were so engaging and interactive, too. This is a wonderful place to learn new things about horses, especially if it'd be one's first time around horses. What I love so much about Buffalo Run is that they are committed to organizing community activities for at-risk youth in our community. I have seen the difference this has made! They always look forward to it. I would recommend this barn to anyone who is considering a place to board their horse, take riding lessons, go on trail rides, or do any type of partnership work.
