★John BThey have what appears to be a cozy relationship with members of the pickleball committee. Allowing a business owned by a committee member, to rent all of the PUBLIC pickleball courts on a regular basis. This company inconvenienced taxpayers who regularly play at OIB pickleball courts by renting all of the courts for the entire weekend. Now they rented all the courts for the entire day on 3/23. But due to the forecast of rain they changed it to Sunday 3/24. Are they paying for 2 rentals? Where does this money go directly to maintain the OIB courts or some so called general fund? Taxpayers should not be inconvenienced so a private company can make money by renting all of the courts. Also just looks and sounds fishy a committee member and parks commission doing business together. Inconvenienced citizen J. Byrnes
★jennifer virgoThis is a (Football review) It's very sad that this is all the county has to offer for kids. If you are a child of color or a minority you definitely won't get the shine or credit that is deserved. This county plays favoritism and hands out spots based on who you are rather than what the child can do. It's pure recreation, the game is not properly taught and the coaches set the kids up for failure. Any complaints that happened from parents will always land on any coach that isn't white💯
★A EdwardsCan we get some help with the soccer feilds please. Baseball and pickleball facilities are tip notch. Fix the utility feilds for the hundreds of Brunswick County Kids playing soccer. Its been too long. Stop lying to the kids about money and irrigation systems etc. FIX IT.
