Brookside Tennis Training · Private
Brookside Tennis Training runs weekly summer tennis camps at Brookside Swim & Tennis Club in Saratoga, open to non-members as well as members. The Beginner/Development camp meets 9:00-11:00 AM for ages 5-14 in their first one to three years of tennis and drills stroke fundamentals with professional coaches; a Challenger/Elite track serves higher-level tournament players at roughly UTR 3 and above. Because the tennis session is only two hours, the club sells a separate 11:00 AM-4:00 PM extended-care add-on with swimming, painting, games and arts and crafts. Weekly sessions run from early June through early August at $395 per week, with $110 drop-in days.

Powered by GoogleBrookside Tennis Training Tiny Aces is a fantastic introduction to tennis for toddlers! My son Sebastian absolutely loves it and looks forward to class each week. Coach Brendan and Coach Steve do an excellent job introducing the game in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way. The program focuses on building coordination, balance, and motor skills through creative games and activities that keep the kids moving and smiling. Parent participation is required, which I actually see as a huge benefit. It gives me a wonderful opportunity to bond with my son while sharing a sport that has meant so much to me throughout my life. The coaches are patient, energetic, and great at connecting with young children. If you're looking for a positive first sports experience for your toddler, I highly recommend Tiny Aces. It's fun, active, and lays a great foundation for both athletic development with proper technique and a lifelong love of tennis!
Brookside Tennis has been an incredible experience for our son and our entire family. He started training there at age 7 and in the three years that he has been training there we’ve seen tremendous growth in his skills, confidence, discipline, and overall love for the game. The coaches create such a positive, supportive, and motivating environment while still pushing him to improve and compete at a higher level. What we appreciate most is how much they genuinely care about each child’s development both on and off the court. The training is personalized, thoughtful, and tailored to his strengths and areas for improvement. Over the years, our son has developed not only technically and physically, but also mentally as a player. The coaches do an amazing job balancing high expectations with encouragement and support, which has helped him grow tremendously as a young athlete. We’re so grateful to be part of the Brookside community and can’t recommend Brookside Tennis Training enough for families looking for exceptional coaching and a great environment for junior players.
Coach Steve and his entire team (Brendan, Aoife, James and Claire) are all amazing coaches. They offer classes for all levels of tennis players, and all ages! My younger one has been taking classes there for quite a few years and he now trains 3-4 days a week. He thoroughly enjoys each classes. They put a strong emphasis on the fundamentals but the coaches try to add a small element of fun to each class. They offer both group classes and private classes. Myself, my husband and my two boys are now all taking private classes with Coach Brendan! Coach Brendan is an excellent coach, providing on point and great feedback at each class. I only wish each class with him is longer. Lastly, Brookside Club is a just wonderful local club to play tennis and swim. Definitely check it out!
I’ve been training at Brookside Tennis Training for several years now and they have greatly helped me improve. Whether you are a complete beginner looking to learn the basics, or more advanced and trying to sharpen your gameplay, Brookside can help you improve significantly. They focus on form and basics, as developing a sturdy foundation is crucial to improving when you become more advanced. The coaches are knowledgeable and patient, but also make practices fun and engaging for all ages. They offer summer camp as well, with three different levels ranging from development to elite so you can find the one that matches your skill level the best. I highly recommend Brookside Tennis Training to anyone looking to improve their strokes while also having a good time.
I have been taking lessons at Brookside for about five years. As a forty year old beginner I was so intimidated when I first started. Well, here I am still a regular at various clinics and even joined the USTA over 40 2.5 women’s league. All of the coaches are so good! No one is pretentious, they’re encouraging and are really committed to helping you grow into a solid tennis player, regardless of your age or previous experience. From the adult beginners clinic to the cardio class to one on one and four person semi private lessons, all of them have been fantastic! I cannot recommend Brookside tennis highly enough! So great!
