The Bret Harte Aquatic Center is a public pool on the Bret Harte Union High School District campus in Angels Camp (a 30-meter by 25-yard pool with zero-entry access). Over the summer it offers public and lap swim, water aerobics, and group swim lessons across proficiency levels (Tiny Tadpoles through Bullfrogs); private lessons run February-October. It is an aquatic center with lessons, not a summer day camp.

I had a child who was not going to get in the water but all of the staff made it a point to learn his name and make him feel super comfortable and letting him take his time to get acclimated to his first lessons. I haven’t met one staff memeber that wasn’t great, but I have to say that in particular Minnie & Eden were by far the best help and best lifeguard & swim instructors. Thank you Minnie & Eden BHAC is lucky to have such a great employees, you guys deserve a raise!
