Great for young kids and the young at heart to learn safety in handling and riding. The staff were all students at one time and they have taken the academy to the next level after the passing of the founder, (my mother) She hoped it would continue after she died in its 39th year. 3 years later, still going strong and continuing her legacy to offer the horse experience to those who may not have a horse or want to learn about horses.

Amazing place and our kids loved it! Amber and Elijah is ready to start lessons in March 2021! Their momma had lots of fun playing with all the kitties. Annabelle was very knowledgeable and the kids learned A LOT! We will be back!!

I have three children ages 16, 14, & 8 who have ridden on and off since my oldest was 6. All of my children have come to me at different times and told me that they have more fun at this barn than at any other we’ve ever gone to. Currently they are on lesson #9 with Breezy Bluff. As a parent I like that all of my children were able to be together in the same lesson even through they are all at different skill levels. The instructors are talented and experienced enough to handle them where they are at. Other barns have insisted on individual private lessons which is difficult to fit into a schedule. Additionally, it’s a shared love that they can actually bond over doing it together at the same time. I wound not have any reservations recommending Breezy Bluff to a friend.

We have been taking our daughter for lessons at Breezy Bluffs Riding Academy for a year now. She is 5 years old and has so enjoyed being at the barn and with the wonderful staff. They have been very supportive of her going from very enthusiastic to unsure and back again. They are very attentive and understanding. I love that the children are taught from the being the maintenance and care for the horse as well. They learn about they equipment they need and are started in the beginning on a path of (well supported) self sufficiency and responsibility. We would recommend Breezy Bluffs to anyone!

Our family has been riding at Breezy Bluff Riding Academy for five years. When we first looked for horse riding lessons, we chose Breezy Bluff as the prices were MUCH more reasonable than other stables in our area. We have loved the opportunity not just to ride but also to learn to take care of a horse by grooming and saddling the horse. As student progress in their lessons, picking a horse's hoof is also included in the grooming opportunities. The scope of skills taught in lessons grows as a rider progresses and opportunities for jumping and dressage lessons are provided to interested and capable students. Trail rides are a regular lesson component. Students also have the opportunity to display their riding progress in annual horse shows at the Breezy Bluff. Our family appreciates the friendships we have made with the owners and other students at Breezy Bluff. Through their encouragement, my daughter leased a horse to show in our local county fair where she did quite well. Breezy Bluff has always been quite accommodating when we have needed to adjust our lesson times or days due to schedule conflicts when notified ahead of time. In addition to being a riding academy, Breezy Bluff is a working farm where student safety comes first. My family has enjoyed the opportunity to interact with other farm animals as well. For recreational horse riding lessons for children and adults, Breezy Bluff Riding Academy is a wonderful establishment.
