I’m sorry to write this review about a volunteer organization, but I have been disappointed with the sports programs and facilities. I paid a lot of money to have my kids play with byc and I was left wondering where the money went, because it’s unclear. My kids recently participated in summer basketball and what a mess!! The shirt they gave as a “uniform” was an adult size for my 6 year old?! My 8 year old has the same adult size and it looked like a dress - not a basketball uniform. It’s really ashamed that byc is so cheap. As for the main concern, the byc gym floor is unsafe. I can’t tell you how many times kids slipped and hit the deck while playing basketball this summer. It’s plain old dangerous. I’ll be looking for other youth clubs in the area. It’s so sad that BYC has fallen apart and lost sight of what’s important. The volunteers are probably doing their best but that’s not good enough for me when I pay a premium price for youth sports.

The JBF Glen Mills consignment sale is held there 2x a year and I go both times. The gymnasium is large and generally airy when they leave a couple doors open for circulation. It has a nice park outside for the kids. It's an overall pleasant place that's large enough to hold a huge consignment sale.

This is a very large "airplane hangar" type of building in which I shopped a huge resale of children's clothes, toys, baby aides, games for children of all ages, as well as story and nursery rhyme books for all ages. Some clothes were brand new (w/sales tags still attached). Most of the clothes were in very good shape. Some were too worn to purchase. Most were reasonably priced but some were very over-full. All in all, I was able to find clothes for all five of my grandchildren. I did pay extra to be admitted a day before the public. I doubt I would do that again because although not crowded, the prices were too high to warrant that extra money.
