Summer day camp run by the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Illinois at its Carbondale club (with a companion location in Marion) for children in grades K-8. Roughly nine weeks of full-day programming (about 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) combine a morning 'Summer Brain Gain' block of math, reading and science with afternoon rotations in the arts, STEM, team-building, healthy habits and recreation; lunch and snack are included.
