So 2/13/26 my son goes their after school and he is picked up around 5:45p-6p he is pale, hunched over, and running a fever. Was we notified no. Even after he told one of the people his stomach hurts, don't feel good, and wants his mother. What was the response... Go to the bathroom. Well the incompetence of an entire staff not being able to look his direction and see one he's not himself and two obviously in pain just shows ur kid isn't really being taken care of or for that matter safe. Turns out he had early stage appendicitis and required surgery. I fear what would happen if it was worse and his appendix burst while he was their. He will not be going back.

Had a blast this season with our son's team. The 10U baseball league has been a lot of fun and I'm sure the other ages are just as good. Not super competitive, all skill levels welcome, and the kids are learning the fundamentals and a love for sports. The staff, coaches and parents are all very supportive and it is a really welcoming league for anyone interested in playing local sports.

Better hope your child doesn’t forget a water bottle or they will refuse to give your child water if they are thirsty after being in 80/90 degree heat. They don’t ID for child pickup they just send kids out without supervision many times. I’ve never been id’d even once which I’m sure could cause them to loose their license to watch kids. The other boys and girls clubs I was apart of were amazing… they always went above and beyond. No issues…. But oak ridge is not apart of the boys and girls club online they are a separate entity and it shows. Overall staff is nice and I’m happy but it’s an unfortunate situation they they close when the schools are closed and if a child doesn’t bring a water bottle or leaves it at school the child is not prioritized however the utility bill is. Last I checked I pay weekly and am forced to pay ON TIME or else. Yet they can’t supply water for children sounds like a failure on the boys and girls club of oak ridges behalf even if the rules say a kid must bring a water bottle… they should have some source of water all the times regardless. That being said for $120 a month it’s not bad. The staff can be a little pushy to the kids as well but overall they are nice but it could be better.

My son has participated in virtually every sport they offer for two years now. He has developed teamwork skills and self confidence in that time. The coaches are great. The entire organization is awesome. Wonderful opportunity for kids to have fun and be active.
