★dante woodenWorst experience I have had trying to have reliable after school care for my son. My son takes the bus here from his elementary school. For the past couple of weeks they have been saying to us that our son has been saying he’s not going to take the bus anymore. We were so confused where this information was coming from. A couple weeks later now, the boys and girls club is canceling the bus service for my son. They gave us same day notice which gives us no time to supply another resource of transportation for my son. This is highly unprofessional and I am in disbelief. Alex tried to down play the situation and say he understands my concern about the matter but, that is not helping giving same day notice that my son will no longer be picked up. I don’t not recommend this club. If it is not worth there time/ money to pick up your child… they will cancel service!
★★★★★Jasper batesI’ve been going here for 7 years and i will continue to go. They provide lunch, someone to talk with, outside hour, fun trips, exercise, and mostly fun. You will always feel involved and welcomed. When you become a teen it’s even more fun! On Fridays you can stay longer and enjoy a free dinner with your friends and hangout just with other teens. All the staff are welcoming and open to all things as well.

★★★★ALICIA BILLINGSALTHOUGH I DONT CARE FOR THE OPEN DOOR POLICY MEANING MY 7 YEAR OLD CHILD CAN LEAVE THE BUILDING AS DO AS HE WANTS FREELY DOWN TOWN, I HAVE EXPRESSED TO THE STAFF AT THE FAIRBANKS BOYS & GIRLS CLUB MY SON DOES NOT HAVE MY PREMISSION TO LEAVE THE BUILDING. WHEN MY SON ASKED TO GO OUT SIDE TO THE BOXING ROOM, THEY TOLD HIM NO, IT MADE ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT MY DESCION TO PLACE HIM IN THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB IT MADE ME FEEL THAT MY CHILD WAS SAFE AND THE STAFF CARED ABOUT THE WELL BEING OF MY SON. AND IM STILL GETTING AFFORDABLE CARE FOR MY SON.
