★A Soccer MomThe Black Watch grassroots program is a nothing more than a glorified recreation team. My son participated in exactly one tournament over the course of the year that was less than an hour from Albany. Our experience was that practice was inexplicably canceled from time to time. The bottom line is that if you want your child to be part of a competitive soccer program that will keep him/her active at a very competitive level throughout the year, we found this program to be sadly lacking. The catastrophic mistake this organization makes is that it does not seem to value the idea of serious grassroots development and hopes that phenomenal players will appear out of nowhere at the 12/13 year old age-group. Sadly, if your child excels in soccer, there are very few choices in the Albany area.
★Soccer ParentVery possibly the worst soccer club I have ever been involved with. The coaching staff is poor, rude and argumentative. No control over the players. They will happily take your money and not develop your child.
