We had a challenging experience turn into the most positive experience within a short period of time. From the very beginning, it was clear that the organizers prioritize not only the development of the kids' soccer skills, but also their safety, inclusivity, and overall enjoyment of the game. What truly stood out to us was the league's commitment to going above and beyond. When a few issues came up that could have prevented one or both of our kids from playing, the staff responded with understanding and action. They worked with us directly to resolve everything—efficiently and thoughtfully—making sure both of our children had the opportunity to play and thrive on the field. The coaches have been fantastic, creating a supportive environment where players are encouraged to learn, grow, and have fun. We’ve seen real improvement in our kids' confidence, teamwork, and technical skills. Most importantly, the league has maintained a strong focus on safety, which gave us great peace of mind. We’re truly grateful to be part of a league that genuinely puts the players first. Highly recommend to any family looking for a well-run, community-focused soccer experience.

I want to give a huge thank you to Coach Cherish, who wears so many hats as both the president and coach of the Big Sun Youth Soccer League. From the very beginning, she made my child feel welcome, motivated, and excited to be part of something special. Her energy is contagious, and her passion for the game—and for the kids—is truly unmatched. My child has grown so much under her guidance, not only in soccer skills but also in confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Coach Cherish takes the time to uplift every player, celebrate their progress, and push them to be their best, all while keeping things fun and encouraging. It’s clear that she puts her whole heart into this league, and it shows in everything she does—from how organized the season is to how loved and supported the kids feel. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Big Sun family. Thank you, Coach Cherish, for your leadership, dedication, and the positive impact you’ve had on my child and so many others.

In mid October I made the mistake of trying to register my son for the fall season. I was aware that the soccer season had already started. But at my son's request I tried to register anyway. Which I only did because the site says they will only charge your card once they have placed your child on a team. So I thought I just won't be charged if he can't start. Instead that day I got charged. So I assumed that he would be getting a teamassigned shortly after. I got a bill saying I registered for the fall season and that my card is charged. Along with the fall season schedule. I waited at least a week to see if I would ever get more info or my son would be assigned a team. None of that ever happened. Since then it has been two months of me trying to reach out and figure out how to get my money back. Now I understand the website says no refunds. However it also says I won't be charged without getting a team assignment. Well I never got an assignment. I first tried their "contact us" option on their website. And it does not work. It's a dead link. Then I tried their text messaging number(they do not have a phone number listed anywhere I can call directly). Someone did message me but after a few messages they stopped responding. And very oddly when I went back to the gotsport website, my bill had disappeared. Which I thought was odd. I also reached out through the email provided by the website. Same thing. They start to ask about my info and such then Stopped responding. So I found another email to message at the bottom of my bill concerning billing. So I messaged that email. I get a response not from that email but from the rec president herself, Cheshy Cavalla. She immediately offers a refund and apologizes but also blames me and tells me it was my misunderstanding because I was registering for the spring season. And I was like how is that possible, even my bill says I registered for the fall season and I received the fall schedule through my registration email. And no where does it says spring. It all says fall. So she tries to get me to go for the spring season or call her so I'll feel better about it. But with all the lack of good communication I'm over it. I will not put my son in a program that no one can be professional in. So I explain that to her and ask for the refund she promised me in her first email. And guess what, she doesn't respond. So I give it 10 days to see if my refund goes through. And nothing. So I emailed her again asking her about it. She responds and says she'll look into it. Again I hear nothing. I wait a few days because of the thanksgiving holiday to give her time. And nothing. So I reach out again and I still have not heard from her. So I give it a few more days and then I start recontacting all the numbers and emails I have to get someone to talk to me. Only one email responded back and it's a new person, Cherish Mcnamara. She ask me my son's name. That's it. That's the whole email. And so then I send her another email asking for what's going on, a few hours later. She responds with shes working on pulling my info and promises to respond back. It has now been 4 or 5 days and hasnt responded. Like everyone else she's disappeared. It is just an utterly bizarre situation. I have been very patient and very polite considering the lack of response from literally everyone I have reached out to. I will be doing what I can to get my money back by other means at this point.

3 year starter team coaching great. Teaching only as good as coach and they are great. 5/6 team, poor set up by club, 8 or more on most teams but other team we played has 4 players. They said they approached president about this and no action. People in charge shouldn't be in charge if cannot solve problems. Kids had no one to put in to rest.

Nice facility that is easy to access. There is plenty of parking, just follow the road network to your field.
