⭐️ 1 Star Serious Concerns for Player Safety at Belleview Soccer Club As a new head coach this season, I was excited to be part of a league that claimed to value community and youth development. What I found instead deeply concerned me — especially for the mental and physical safety of the kids involved. Board members here coach and referee within the same division, stacking teams and creating clear conflicts of interest. But what’s worse is what’s being taught. I personally witnessed board-member teams instructing players to use harmful tactics — saying things like “take out #” to target certain players, or teaching kids that when a ball is going out of bounds, they should kick it at an opposing player so it bounces off and stays their ball. These behaviors encourage aggression, not sportsmanship. When safety and fairness concerns were raised, the board didn’t listen — they retaliated against me and my assistant coach, removing our team from postseason play and misleading parents about the reasons. The most disturbing part was during the player draft, where board members made discriminatory and belittling remarks about children’s ability, SIZE, GENDER, and MENTAL CAPACITY. Absolutely NO child should ever be spoken about like that by the adults responsible for guiding them. Belleview Soccer Club needs serious reform. The current leadership has created an environment where winning and control matter more than children’s well-being. Parents deserve to know their kids are playing in a league that values respect, safety, and inclusion — not one that undermines them.

SHAMEFUL NEGLECT: THE BELLEVIEW SOCCER CLUB BOARD’S FAILURE OF LEADERSHIP AND DUTY ⭐️ Rating: One star — only because zero isn’t an option. As both coaches and parents within Belleview Soccer Club, we are compelled to speak out after witnessing what can only be described as a catastrophic failure of leadership and a shameful neglect of duty by the Club’s Board of Directors. The Scandal of the Season: Board-Sanctioned Harassment and Cruelty Throughout the U10 season, a parent tied to a specific team was allowed to repeatedly engage in malicious, targeted harassment of young athletes. This wasn’t an isolated outburst — it was a sustained campaign of cruelty that stripped away the safe, positive environment children deserve in youth sports. Both coaches and parents submitted multiple documented complaints to the Board. The response? Silence and inaction. The Belleview Soccer Club Board chose to ignore clear evidence, effectively protecting the abusive adult and sacrificing the well-being of every child involved. A Club Without Integrity The Club’s “Code of Conduct” now means nothing — it exists only on paper. When leadership refuses to uphold its own rules, it sends a chilling message: that protecting children matters less than protecting reputations. Our Stand We are officially cutting all ties with Belleview Soccer Club and will not return under its current leadership. Our hope is that speaking publicly will protect other families from enduring the same disregard for player safety, respect, and accountability. Youth sports should build confidence, not crush it. Belleview Soccer Club’s leadership has failed its players — and it’s time for change. After writing a review on the Facebook page, they blocked me. Just trying to help others and create awareness of the dysfunction and safety concerns using my right to free speech.

We love the community of friends and families we have met in our time here. Love that there is a mini playground at the soccer field for siblings/all kids. Plenty of parking. They take care of the equipment and have benches for parents during practices and games. Coaches are volunteers and are committed to showing up week after week for the kids. We really appreciate that as parents. We do wish the bathrooms were better (for soccer, I have never seen them closed during practices or games). Very glad this feild is here, we have enjoyed watching our son have fun and grow in his soccer skills.
