Powered by Googleour experience with Moohan martial arts has been nothing short of exceptional. Master Kim and Master O are not only highly skilled in the art, but they also have a remarkable ability to connect with children. They create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where kids feel comfortable exploring their potential. They’re teaching not only Taekwondo also important life skills like discipline, respect, confidence and self control. The instructors use creative teaching methods that keep the kids engaged and excited to learn. As parents, we've witnessed a noticeable improvement in our child's physical fitness, coordination, and confidence since joining this program. They genuinely look forward to each session, eager to learn and grow. This place is totally a fantastic blend of physical activity, character development, and social interaction. It provides a solid foundation for a healthy, confident, and disciplined upbringing. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a positive and enriching activity for their child.
My son and I have been taking classes here since September 2015 and we both love coming to class each week! Master S. Kim is patient with the children and really takes each childs needs/technique and skills into consideration when working with them. This gives instruction a more personal feel. For instance, in Adult class we focus greatly on the detail of the techniques as well as an incredible workout. The students and their families here at Moohan have truly become a second family to us and we enjoy welcoming new families each week. My 13 year son has learned a great deal of confidence, patience, humility and pride through the practice of Tae Kwon Do. He and the other children enjoy working towards building a kicking skill or improving their form. Master S. Kim is amazing at acknowledging each childs progress without simply handing out belt after belt (school is NOT a belt factory). Ms Jesse is an awesome manager of the school as well and serves as a lynchpin for the organization and keeping the Families and children motivation, informed, and happy.
Moohan Martial Arts in Dawsonville is absolutely AMAZING! My son started at 6 years old and has thrived! Master S. Kim is wonderful and my now 7 year old really looks up to him. The Masters are SO patient and kind. They put a lot of time and effort into EACH class. My son has built confidence and respect. We have found a place where my son can growth and learn not only Martial Arts, but life long skills. Mrs. Jessie at the front desk is AMAZING also! She is always there to help and answer any questions I may have. She’s also kind and caring with my son. He attends the BEST KIDS After School program here as well and loves every minute of it. Highly Highly recommend Moohan Martial Arts in Dawsonville!!!!
My son is thriving here. Respect, love of family, and courtesy are the cornerstones here. Classes are fun, well organized, and the Masters are AMAZING with the children. I highly recommend Moohan to any parent seeking a quality activity for their children.
Have really enjoyed our experience here! The masters are very patient; yet, set high standards for respect and focus. I enjoy the exercise component which focuses on skills that will be needed: focus, foot work, agility, form over speed. The teen/adult helpers (who are also students) set a great example. All are welcome to learn and ultimately to teach. Also, getting emails from my son’s teacher about how well he is staying on task and completing work (not easy for my son with ADHD and high-functioning Autism). Is this related to his Moohan experience 🤷♀️, but I’m not going to jinx it.
