My daughter had a great time at camp! More importantly, when the dreaded homesickness hit, Mandi's experience and expertise in handling campers really shone through - coaching my child AND her nervous parents with grace! Turns out, Mandi was right - daughter ended up having a blast, is going back to camp next year, and has been talking to her camp friends regularly. A great camp experience all around! In addition, her dance instructors keep asking what she did over the summer....her skills improved that much in just a few weeks!!

Berkshire Lake Arts Camp is a wonderful camp with beautiful facilities to boot. My children both attended the camps with a focus on dance and enjoyed the experience deeply. My oldest child attended for two years in a row and went without any known friends both years. The most amazing aspect of this camp is the fact that it provides a taste of traditional summer camp with the added bonus of focusing on the artistic activities that your children love. It is truly the best of both worlds. The communication is incredible and the staff facilitated a method for our kids to receive letter communication via email every day for as many days as wanted by both kids and parents. The director is incredibly kind, the choreographers were extremely talented and patient, the counselors were all enjoyed and attentive. If there were more than 5 stars allotted, Berkshire Lake Arts Camp would receive all of them. I cannot envision a better summer adventure filled with all of the special childhood experiences than the one provided by Berkshire. I literally am welling up with tears of joy reflecting on the happy summers my children were given.

A beautiful place for girls to grow in all forms of the arts. The visual, theatrical and dance staff are all highly qualified and accomplished in their field. They are able to take girls looking to improve their skills in these areas and build on their prior knowledge and expand their skill sets. Every young lady to attends the camp will leave with more content knowledge in their area of interest, improved and new skill sets, create bonds of friendships that will last a lifetime, as well as important life skills that you don't gain in a traditional classroom.
