Powered by GoogleThis would be out second year for summer camp at BCYC. My daughter is only 6 and has yet to complain about any staff members. Every day when I pick her up I ask about her safety and about her day and there are never any red flags. She gets along good with the other children and enjoys the games the staff comes up with. Especially "Infected" where they get to play like zombies in gym. She always enjoys the field trips which makes me very nervous but she always returns in one piece unharmed (thank the lord) I recommend BCYC to everyone looking for after school and summer care. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because sometimes it is hard to find information about things and I am a type A planner (and have anxiety) and do not thrive on last minute info, or not knowing all details to activities. But I truly love the staff that I have met and I feel that my daughter is safe and looked after.
BCYC has been the biggest blessing for our son. They sing songs on the pick up bus from his school which he loves. The staff is always engaged with the children; I’ve never seen a staff member chatting with another staff member off to the side or staring at their phones. They play with the kids during their gym time. So fortunate to have a place like this in our area and a Christian center to beat!
This is our first time with BCYC and we absolutely love it! Our kids are having the best time and always come home excited to share what they did. The staff and team are so supportive, helpful, and kind we truly feel welcomed and cared for. We plan on staying for the afterschool program too!
Do not recommend at all. The worst administration I’ve ever dealt with. Registered my two boys in April for summer care. They only submitted paperwork for one and didn’t say anything at all to me until the week before school got out. I paid the first month’s invoice which was only applied to one kid making it look like the other child had not had their tuition paid. They charge $430 per month for one child and are now saying they won’t be feeding them lunch anymore? Are you kidding me? You charge insane prices as it is compared to other summer programs and now you’re not feeding the kids? Insane. I will not be bringing my kids back here. A teacher was also removed from a classroom for violating BCYCs values. Had kids walking laps, taking silent lunches. This place is a nightmare.
Every day when I go to drop my kids off at 7 AM, there is no employee there to start checking in the kids for daycare. Around 7:03 AM, we will all see the employees start pulling in the parking lot. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Some of us parents have to get to work early.
