I love this place. I have been taking lessons there for long time (many years) and almost always I have had a great time and experience with the young, unpretentious coaches from Brazil, Russia and other countries around the world. They are good players, coaches but most importantly authentic, great human beings. Even if the place has changed its name and or management, there are always cool coaches who work hard and for whom the mantra is to be nice to people, and teach them to play or improve at tennis efficiently. This place, which seems low key compared to fancy clubs, should be taken as an example by other expensive and bureaucratic places in Kirkland and around.

There is this one coach that is coaching tennis because he has free time over the covid time and or because of summer and he was cursing left and right during the lesson. Very disappointed. Not to mention that he shortened my lesson by 30 minutes. Next time I will schedule a tennis lesson with another instructor. Just make sure to ask which instructor you want bc they don’t tell you who is teaching you when you sign up for a camp or lesson. The other people and staffs/ coaches are very good especially the director is very well mannered and is highly knowledgeable and is probably the best coach in the facility.

Northwest badminton academy is in the same arena and courts are too notch. Have a good reservation policy. They have sanitizers and offer masks in case you forget one. They also have a good collection of non marking shoes and badminton racquets. There is a table tennis table too along with paddles and ball!

Good tennis club for my son to learn. Great coaches and nice accommodations for waiting parents. Can get courts without membership, which saves a ton of money as we use it only for the rainy season.

Courts are good. Membership service is bad. As a member, we can only reserve courts within a week. But when I login their online reservation system, I see a lot of them are reserved even one month ahead. I know they have tennis class in evenings, which ends around 9:30pm. But why courts are reserved until the closing time 11:30pm? I cannot reserve courts further than 1 week, then who can? I asked for explanation, but no one response. My guess is that some 'back door' of the system is opened for some 'VIPs'. This unfairness makes me upset. If there is such kind of VIP membership, please put it under the sun.
