My daughter joined Backstage Dance for a summer camp opportunity 4 years ago. She was quickly inspired to keep taking classes, pursue competition teams, and broaden her skills across jazz, contemporary, and ballet. She was a late comer to the dance community but in her short tenure, has worked very hard to compete in national dance competitions, winning awards in team and solo numbers, all while the coaches continue to push her to be her best. I was very hesitant to join the dance community but we have quickly developed relationships with parents and instructors that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!!!!

Her attention to detail and correction and encouragement are just an amazing combination---more dance schools need the supportive environment that is Backstage Dance! I have danced for 19 years and have attended classes at many different studios with different instructors all over the country. So when I tell you Anne is my favorite ballet teacher, please understand how great she is! This studio has that classic dance studio vibe, with three dance rooms so there are plenty of classes/times to choose from. Ballet (kid and adult), tap (kid and adult) jazz, contemporary, and more. Everyone is welcomed and classes have been so much fun. And the price for classes are incredibly reasonable. I feel like I'm getting a steal of a deal! My eight year old daughter started here but then decided to focus on her soccer so I thought, heck, I'LL dance here then! I drive up from Kuna every week, regardless of gas prices because this is my happy place. Anne, and the other amazing teachers here, challenge their dancers without being too strict or stuffy. Anne's combinations are fun, she's encouraging, and she is so knowledgeable! The only complaint I have is that sometimes the parking lot fills up quickly but there's plenty of street parking on a (not busy) road right in front so really, no big deal.

I've been attending Adult Ballet classes at Backstage Dance Center for over 4 years now, and I am so happy I found them. Everyone, especially the instructors & owner Anne, is so welcoming and supportive. I've made some amazing friends in my classmates and look forward to dancing with them. Our daughter has been dancing for 10 years, during that time we had been members at a number of dance studios in the area and Backstage has by far the BEST technique. They have very well qualified instructors that are always caring and encouraging, and very experienced competition coaches. Backstage understands what a great commitment dancing is and endeavours to keep costs affordable for everyone. This studio is amazing!
