Powered by Google“My child has been a part of the Axcelerate Gymnastics family for over three and a half years, and the experience has been truly wonderful. The coaches are not only skilled but also incredibly patient and supportive, which has helped my child grow in so many ways. I am deeply grateful for the positive impact they’ve made and highly recommend Axcelerate Gymnastics, especially for children with special needs.”
Unfortunately, our experience with Axcelerate Gymnastics was disappointing—mainly due to the leadership approach of Coach Yira, who is also the owner. We enrolled our daughter with great enthusiasm and commitment, confident that she would grow in a positive and professional environment. Sadly, this was not her experience. While most of the coaches were truly wonderful—kind, supportive, and encouraging—Coach Yira’s tone set a very different atmosphere. She consistently raised her voice during practices, and that level of intensity deeply affected our daughter’s confidence and emotional well-being. We do not believe yelling is an appropriate or constructive way to guide children, especially in a sport that demands both discipline and trust. We respectfully shared our concerns and requested that the 30-day withdrawal policy be reconsidered, as this was not a voluntary change of mind, but a necessary decision to protect our daughter’s emotional health. Unfortunately, our request was denied without any acknowledgment of the circumstances. We absolutely respect the discipline required in competitive gymnastics, but it should always come with respect, empathy, and emotional safety. We hope this review helps other families make an informed decision.
Love this gym!! They’re very professional and friendly, start class on time, and my kid actually learns real skills that they’ll carry on to progress in gymnastics. (Other places treat young kids gymnastics as play time, this place takes a more technical/real approach). Coach Matthias is great! If you want your youngins to get a very comprehensive start to gymnastics I’d start here! :)
The perfect competitive mode education, physically strengthening, making friends environment . Coach Soto is always friendly and professional, willing to help to boys growing. The gym is very clean and waiting area is amazing!
Our son has been with Coach Soto since he was 8 (he is almost 17 now) and we couldn't ask for a better coach. We followed them from another gym when they (Coach Soto and is wife) bought Axcelerate, so we have been with them since AGA opened and years before. Our son competes on the national level, the training and environment is top notch. We had been in 4 gyms before this one and moved specifically to train with Coach Soto. I highly recommend this gym, especially for boys gymnastics (which is where our experience is).
