My son attended swim class here and it was overall a good experience with the swim coaches. However the front desk and management is a disaster. They overcharge us very close to end of my son’s end of classes, they enrolled it to a wrong level. Anyway for whatever reason, they cannot charge back the amount to our original payment. Option is attending another month so that we will be served what we were charged. Ok, but the problem is to attend a class you need to have a payment method on file. Ok we give the credit card info with automatic payment enabled. So our card is charged 3 more times and we had to attend 3 more month. It is so weigh that you need to have the card but need to cancel at the same time.. TLDR : they made a mistake but won’t care to fix it , terrible customer service.

We love AVAC Swim School! The instructors are amazing with kids. My daughter looks forward to every lesson.

I need to give a shout out to Kristina. We brought our 8 month old son for swim lessons and she was absolutely incredible with him and the other baby in the class. I was so impressed! As someone with an M.Ed in EdPsych who has worked in schools, I tend to be hyper-aware of how adults interact with children and she aced it!

Updated review.. instructors are amazing now that I've gotten to know them after 6 weeks. Carl and Derek who work with me the most are seasoned, reassuring and encouraging and spend the time helping you get comfortable and make progress. Feeling much more optimistic about learning to swim better now. ************* Okay so far for adult lessons. good coach to student ratio for adult group lessons but the coaches keep changing (as in there are multiple coaches in the pool and they rotate around) every week and it's a bit of a reset. You feel like the coach is not really committed to your success even if you are since they change every week. Coaches are good but if they change every week you end up having to start all over and it's like trying something new every week. Hopefully I'll get to know them all and they get to know me and it's a little easier to start from where I left off.

Great instructors, and very helpful front-office staff. Everything is very well organized. My 4-year-old is usually very shy, but he absolutely loves them. They offer open swim; scheduling makeup classes is easy, and they never expire.
