Augusta Sailing Club runs a five-day summer sail camp for ages 8-17 on Clarks Hill Lake, open to the public as well as club members and drawing roughly 120-140 campers each summer across sessions in June and July. The full-day Adventure Sailing camp covers water safety, sailing and paddling basics, while half-day camps move sailors from beginner through intermediate Open Skiff, 420 and race team. A two-day option teaches the Georgia DNR Boater Safety Course so students can earn state boater certification, and instructors are US Sailing certified. The club sits at 5462 Sailing Rd in Appling, surrounded by US Army Corps of Engineers land.

Love this place. If you love sailing you need to see this place. It's volunteer based you don't have to have a sailboat to join, just a desire to learn.
People are amazing and such a beautiful place.
Nice place if your wanting to join a club this looks like a this would be a good one everyone was nice an friendly I went to there open house back in May I think.Never got any response back about joining
ASC is beautiful, I met a lot of friendly people and had lots of fun sailing for the first time. The club is members only but they do offer sailing classes during the summer which I would highly recommend, I had a great time and will definitely be back.
