Powered by GoogleTo start, my son loves this place. It is a great place to play for kids. It is clean and there is typically plenty of seating available. We recently hosted a birthday party here and felt that we did not receive the service that was expected from our party assistant. Several times we were told they would come check on us or let us know when we hit our limit on kids because some people planned to pay for themselves since they didn't RSVP. Our party assistant never checked with us and we ended up paying for 6 kids that otherwise would have paid for themselves. For significantly less money, we could have hosted a similar party. Finally, there is a lot of focus on alcohol for a children's indoor playground. It feels strange that there is a full bar with liquor bottles on display right in plain view of the children's playplace. The coffee menu and non alcoholic beverage is small compared to the alcohol selection. Each time I have been to the establishment (quite a few), my coffee order has been forgotten about and I have waited 45 minutes while they serve alcoholic beverages (before lunchtime) in a pinch. By the afternoon, expect adults who have a good buzz and are being inappropriate around children. Nothing too wild, but enough to be uncomfortable.
We absolutely love Salem Edge Adventure Park! It’s become our go to spot for burning off energy (for the last 3 years), and my kid never wants to leave. They are on top of their cleanliness, the atmosphere is fun and the floor guards are the best. We appreciate y’all!! I also want to give a huge shout out to the team there. During our visit tonight, I saw the front desk and kitchen staff handle a really difficult situation with a customer bringing in outside food (despite the clear signs). They remained professional and calm even when being given a hard time. It’s reassuring to see a business stick to their safety policies while staying polite. We’ll definitely be back!
Do not use auto fill to help with the online waiver as it won't let you submit it, but also won't give you an error message. Kids had a blast. Food was amazing but a tad spendy. Parking lot is WAY too small, prepare for that!
My daughter took gymnastic classes for about six years and it was overall a good experience. The teachers were knowledgeable and my daughter grew attached to most of them. Rescheduling was fairly easy. You just have to use a class within the month. My daughter did end up picking up ringworm a few times from the mats so be aware of that possibility. My doctor said this is common with the combination of mats, humidity and sweat. However, she enjoyed her time very much and made friends along the way. My most frustrating experience with AE was when my daughter decided to quit. We cancelled at the "wrong time" and I was charged a full month of classes (over $100) even though she wasn't coming back. She never attended any of them but I wasn't allowed a refund because the timing wasn't right. I was told they would look into a refund but there wasn't any followup. So I unwillingly donated to the business. I say this as precaution to those who are thinking of canceling: find out when is the best time to cancel so you aren't charged extra. I think AE could improve this part of the experience so a person isn't charged AFTER they cancel classes.
The parking area is small, but it’s a great place for kids to play. Highly recommended.
