Arts & Education at the Hoyt, a nonprofit arts center on a historic five-acre campus in New Castle, offers five weeks of summer art camp for children ages 3-12, grouped by age (3-5, 6-8, 9-12). Half-day morning sessions (9 a.m.-noon) and full-day sessions (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) run Tuesday-Friday, with projects spanning painting, collage, mixed media and clay. Full and partial scholarships are available.

The house was elegantly decorated, although there wasn't much variation amongst all the trees (perhaps someing to explore in future years). I enjoyed the hat scavenger hunt even if I couldn't find two. The Global Headwear exhibit was captivating for me. I've been thinking about some things in the gift shop. I hope to be there more. Thanks for everyone's hard work on the event.
