★★MEGAN grossDid multiple dance classes for my wedding and each time we were rushed and there were 3-4 other lessons going on at the same time. We could never practice with our wedding song on because other music would be loudly playing for the other people taking dance lessons, making it extremely difficult to learn the moves. Way over priced for what you get. Was also told by our instructor he would send all the steps we needed to learn with the times of our song so we could practice at home and he never sent it. Would not recommend for wedding practice.

She beautifully choreographed the whole song we chose and helped us not only learn it but also learn some basic dancing skills (which we did not have walking into our first lesson). Despite being extremely nervous to perform this dance in front of all our guests, the practice had paid off and it went perfectly. So excited to see our video and pictures in the new few months. If you are debating on learning a dance for your wedding, just call up Arthur Murray and at least do the complimentary first lesson.

We ended up doing a great first dance and it was worth it because everyone loved watching us do it. The only thing I would recommend that I wish we did differently is to do your training sessions week after week consistently up until the big day. We sporadically did them over the course of about 3 or 4 months and we ended up having to add on one more single training class 3 days before the wedding to perfect it because it was hard to remember all the moves we did weeks prior. I’m glad we got to share this experience together it really did make a huge difference for our first dance. If you have the budget for it you should purchase a package to learn for your wedding!
