The art association is the jewel of our downtown. Walk through the arts park (especially at Christmas)! There’s a venue, classes (the glass fusion is amazing), and exhibits. The arts live here!

The galleries are always great and the gallery receptions are lots of fun! Great classes, too! Of course, the arts park is absolutely incredible and is a great asset! It definitely elevates the quality of life in New Castle and Henry County!

This facility hosts many types of events. I have mainly visited for Henry County art shows, of which my son and daughter have participated. Most recently I got to take part in throwing pottery with my small group from church. One member of our group taught us how to use the pottery wheel, and we all appreciated the art association 's set up and hospitality. Quite nice to have something like this available for the residents of Henry County in rural Indiana.

The Henry County Art Center has a gorgeous little park outdoors known locally as The Arts Park. The park is clean, family friendly, and gorgeous in the Spring time! The park also features a pavilion for wedding celebrations. As a photographer the park is one of my favorite locations for local portrait sessions and wedding photos!
