A great music camp for student musicians looking to expand their music experience in a fun and adventurous learning environment. Wonderful staff that presented a sense of care, compassion, fun, and music passion from the beginning. During the week long camp, participants attend various Jazz seminars in an attempt to work on playing techniques. The work of the students during the week is on display at the conclusion of the week when they play the selected songs they practice. It was great to see all students improvisation on display. The camp also mixes in various non-music activities like hiking. There seems to be an emphasis on creating and nurturing the idea of teams and friendships beyond the camp. My child enjoyed camp food that was provided. Student teams take turns with responsibilities such as cleanup after dining, etc. The camp also has a small gift shop to purchase snacks during the week. Highly recommend the jazz camp for any self-motivated musician.

My 12 year old son loves this place. We just picked him up yesterday from his 3rd annual summer camp. At every pickup, he and the other campers perform as an orchestra a few songs from different composers. They always performed excellently.

Fantastic music camp that had been in business serving kids since 1942. It's s rustic environment. The kids learn a lot here and a friendly staff takes care of them. A concert is performed on the last day and parents are encouraged to attend.

This is our daughter's third year attending Arrowbear, she absolutely loves it. The camp hosts and counselors are not only experienced and talented musicians, they deeply care about the attendees. The musical selections are challenging and interesting, the hiking and activities are fun, and the campers make great memories. This music camp has heart and soul!

I have the camp. I went there as a campoand counselor for over ten years starting in 1960. My son started at Arrowbear in 2003 or 2004 and started in middle school and continued through college. He even served as the program director of the Jazz session My friends from camp are performing in major symphonies, two became successful international conductors. It is a wonderful place and I recommend it most highly.
