Most classes are taught in Chinese. The teachers treat their students like family, but also hold them to a high standard and help them to excel. There are some good modern and k-pop dance classes, but the traditional dance classes take the cake. Students in the traditional dance classes often learn ethnic dances like Tibetan, Uyghur, and Mongolian dances, as well as classical Chinese dances. This dance studio puts on beautiful performances for Chinese New Year and the Moon Festival. While most students are ethnically Chinese, everyone is welcome. As one of the few white students, I often felt out of place, but was always just as accepted by the teachers. The studio looks modest and struggled during the Pandemic, but is a beautiful environment to grow and challenge yourself in. My long time teacher, Qiu Lao Shi, is warmhearted and a stickler for hard work.

my daughter attends it since 3.5 years old. Teachers are nice and flexible. The tuition is low and they have adult dance class while the kids are dancing. They perform modern and classic dance twice every year at Mesa. A nice small dance school with folks from Chinese origin.
