My daughter attended the Area Stage Conservatory from elementary through middle school. During that time, she participated in Broadway Bites, enrolled in private voice lessons, and performed in five or six productions. It was through the Conservatory that she was introduced to the Inspire Theatre Project (ITP) and invited to volunteer with Irma. Inspired by the program and its mission, I also became a volunteer and have had the privilege of seeing firsthand the impact it has on the students and their families. ITP is truly an extraordinary program. The opportunity it provides for neurodiverse students to participate in theater, build confidence, and express themselves creatively is invaluable. What makes the program especially remarkable is the love, dedication, and genuine care that Irma and the entire staff bring to every class and production. Their passion for the students shines through in everything they do. Watching the students grow, develop friendships, and take pride in their performances is incredibly inspiring. One of the things that speaks volumes about the program is that many of the students have been participating in ITP for years. The lasting relationships they build and their continued enthusiasm for the program reflect the welcoming and supportive community that Irma and her team have created. The productions are thoughtfully put together, and every participant is encouraged to shine in their own unique way. ITP is a wonderful example of how theater can transform lives, and we are so grateful to be a part of it.

Area Stage has been such a wonderful addition to our family this year. This was our first year with the program, and both of my daughters have had such a positive experience; one through private voice lessons, and the other through the ITP ballet and theater production programs. We’ve been incredibly happy with our experience and will absolutely be back. The coaches, instructors, and staff are genuinely caring, supportive, and wonderful with the kids, while also holding them to a high standard and teaching them what it means to approach theater with professionalism, discipline, and dedication all while creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and nurtures children of different abilities, experience levels, and backgrounds. It’s been incredible to watch their confidence, creativity, and skills grow in that environment. Having an organization like this in our community, where children can be meaningfully exposed to the arts at such a high level, is something we truly appreciate. The productions put on by both the conservatory and ITP programs are remarkably impressive; professionally executed, thoughtfully produced, and far beyond what many would expect from youth theater. We feel very fortunate to have Area Stage in our neighborhood.

I’ve been to several shows at Area Stage and I can truly say they know how to go above and beyond. Their ITP program is absolutely extraordinary and impeccable. They put together perfect shows with a variety of students from different backgrounds and disabilities. I’ve been able to attend several of them, and every single aspect is thoroughly taken care of. It can easily be seen that all of the staff is truly passionate, as they not only provide entertainment to neurodivergent students but also instill deep discipline and multiple skills that are easily transferable to other areas of their lives. I sincerely wish there were more programs of this quality around Florida.

love ASC and ITP. In my opinion, there is nothing else like it in South Florida. I am constantly impressed by the progress of every single student ,for children , teens and as adults My daughter has been in Inspire Theatre Project for over 10 years, and I have witnessed firsthand the growth, discipline, and transformation that happens here, as well as the strong and supportive community ITP has built. This is an exceptional program for neurodiverse students and for individuals of all ages and abilities. Their summer programs and classes are amazing If you are looking for a professional training environment, ASC is the place. This is not a daycare or an “extra activity” it is a real conservatory for everyone, where serious artistic training meets inclusion, respect, and excellence.

Inspire Theatre Project is truly one of the best performing arts programs for neurodiverse students of all ages and abilities. My niece has been attending the program for over 5 years, and the growth we have witnessed in her confidence, communication, discipline, and overall happiness has been incredible. The professionalism, dedication, and genuine care shown by the ASC and ITP staff can be seen in everything they do. Their productions are consistently sold out because the quality of their work and the impact they have on students and families speak for themselves. They are not just putting on performances — they are changing lives, creating opportunities, and helping students reach their highest potential in a supportive and respectful environment. The results they achieve with their students are truly impressive. Congratulations to the entire ASC and Inspire Theatre Project team for continuing to provide a space centered on inclusivity, respect, creativity, and excellence for everyone involved.
