Powered by GoogleToday was my first time here. Very disappointed on how dirty your place is. Spit snot, stains on the mirrors. Foors look like they have not been moppedd in months. Very disappointed. Management could learn a lot from Powdersville and Greenville YMCAs. Please for God's sakes clean this place up!
We go for the pool, but the sauna and steam room are what makes it worth $75 a month. Together, it makes you feel amazing. I never expected different types of heat to be so beneficial.
Our family loves it! It does have moldy panels in the pool area. It is a bit tough to enjoy the pools. We keep up with the therapy/lap pool schedules to attend while those are not going on. We still have the elderly members tell the kids to swim elsewhere or they act like we are interrupting their day. We keep it respectful to all but keep in mind that this YMCA is not youth focused and more senior focused.
Good staff and decent equipment. Sadly they’ll take any excuse to close the entire facility including “inclement weather” that begins at 10pm, 4 hours after they normally close. Absolutely outrageous to pay premiums every month for the entire facility to close just cause the administration is lazy. There are good working people there who deserve to work and customers who deserve what they pay for. The same amount is paid every month, so give a discount for not holding up your end of the deal. It’s unfortunate there are facilities of equal quality that are bounds cheaper and are actually open when they’re supposed to be everywhere around Anderson. Also equipment is about 20 years overdue for an upgrade and the dumbbell rack has smelled like death for at least 3 years. YMCA Administration, do better.
The pool is nice. We go in the summer because of swimming lessons and the pool. My 8 year old still hasn’t gotten the knack of swimming yet. I noticed the lifeguards talk a lot. The parking isn’t too great. They need more or a bigger building. We did have my kids bday party there and that was great. They also have a kids zone. I wish they offered more classes and more variety of hours. I’m only giving them a 3. I do like it. I wish the rates were lower. Don’t we all? lol-
