Amelia Island Youth Soccer is a nonprofit youth soccer club in Fernandina Beach offering half-day summer camps (about 9 a.m.–noon) at its Bailey Road fields. A developmental camp serves ages 6–11 and an advanced camp for ages 11–17 mimics high-school and college practices; both stress ball mastery, passing, receiving, dribbling, finishing and small-sided games. Open-enrollment, led by experienced coaches.

They are dedicated to teaching fundamental skills and a tactical understanding of the game, but they are really focused on watching young athletes develop confidence, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. They have amazing options from their Under 4 program to their U16 program for Recreational (Non-Travel) teams and offer great opportunities in their travel Competitive program.

Also, we volunteer to help make it the best possible club that it can be (it’s run by volunteers). We are a small County and this youth sports organization is truly about the kids!
★HollyIf I could give no stars, I would. Beware of this club for travel ball. Because a coach can give their all, dedicate themselves to a team that no one else was willing to take, support the club, go above and beyond, get additional licensing, do EVERYTHING right…but if you’re not friends with the directors they screw you over with no warning, zero explanation and no evidence to back it up. They hurt the team that coach made and give the awesome team to someone else to reap the benefits of someone else’s hard work. And they hurt your children in the process. They watch these kids have their hearts broken and don’t care. It’s not “business” it’s all politics and cliques. I used to wonder why people were leaving in droves to play elsewhere. I get it now.

But then I am biased ;) I have coached and had sons in clubs in 2 countries and 4 states... and each one has been better than the rest. Even if your young ones have NEVER played soccer before, give this club a try... you won't be disappointed!
