I am so grateful we got connected with Coach Neto for both Garra Soccer Academy and First Coast Futsal. I appreciate his style of coaching - he has an unbelievable knowledge of soccer/futsal skills and I’ve watched my player develop greatly under his direction. He runs solid practices, clinics, and as a coach for games - firm, high expectations, yet very positive with excellent, valuable feedback as a group and 1:1. Every session is packed with quality instruction, and my player enjoys playing for him. His passion for the sport shines through and he is very inspiring for the players as well! He provides so many opportunities for his players, typically 7 days/week there is something available to join which is incredible.

Coach Neto is a former professional futsal player who independently manages his club, his teams, and his business. Beyond his strong professional and technical background, what I value most is his approach as a coach. As both a parent of a player and a futsal coach myself, I have learned a great deal from him, and my son, in particular, has grown significantly under his guidance. During the Ocala tournament, I was alongside Coach Neto, supporting him with playing-time decisions, which allowed me to see firsthand the level of care and responsibility he brings to balancing player development with competitiveness. He is genuinely concerned with giving players opportunities, while also being fair to those who train consistently, show commitment week after week, and truly earn the chance to compete at that level. This is not a easy task, and you will never makes everyone happy. I follow the group conversations closely and see that he consistently tries to organize everything months in advance, yet very few people commit or respond at that time. Then, as the tournament approaches, last-minute requests for spots and payments suddenly appear. In those situations, the only realistic solution is to bring everyone together into a single team. Coach Neto’s club clearly prioritizes the sport itself and the long-term development of players, not payment alone. Performance, discipline, commitment, and growth matter more than simply paying to participate. Teams that entered competitions expecting results without preparation or consistent training often left frustrated. His philosophy is demanding, and fair —and it produces real technical and personal growth in young athletes. If you want a Pay to play philosophy, you should go to another Club/business, with Neto you pay to grow.
