Powered by GoogleThe Bullington Family does a great job. They are very knowledgeable. Patient with beginners and families. We’ve been on 4 excursions with them now and can’t wait for the next one we can do.
The tandem kayak tour through Lofton Creek was breathtaking. We had a blast with our friendly, knowledgeable tour guide, Madison. He made us feel safe and comfortable in the water all while showing us the beauty of the creek and making us laugh along the way. Definitely would recommend as an activity to unplug and escape reality. We look forward to doing this again!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars for Amelia Island Kayak Excursions My family and I had an amazing 2.5 hour paddle up the Amelia River with Amelia Island Kayak Excursions, and I’m pretty sure our guide, Madison, is some kind of local legend. Not only did he take on my wife, me, our four grown kids, and one brave boyfriend — he did it right after surviving spring break week in the area. Once we knew his back story, we did our best not to awaken his PTSD from the prior week and mostly behaved throughout the paddle. The equipment was top notch, the kayaks were comfortable, and once we got away from the launch point, the river opened up into a peaceful stretch of classic Florida scenery. Madison’s knowledge of the local flora and fauna added so much to the experience. He pointed out all kinds of bird species, shared great stories about the ecosystem, and even helped us spot a few gators with the calm confidence of someone who clearly knows the river better than most people know their own backyard. The pace of the paddle was perfect — long enough to feel like a real adventure but never too taxing for anyone in our group. You can tell this is a true family business. Madison genuinely cared about our enjoyment, checked in with everyone throughout the trip, and made sure we were comfortable, safe, and having fun. His communication leading up to the day was excellent as well — clear, friendly, and left us with zero questions about what to expect. It made the whole outing smooth and stress free. If you’re visiting Amelia Island and want a memorable, well run, and surprisingly peaceful adventure (even with a large, semi-chaotic family in tow), book with Amelia Island Kayak Excursions. And if you get Madison — congratulations, you’ve hit the jackpot.
Went for my birthday with my husband. It was our first time kayaking! What an experience! The tour guides, all 3, were extremely nice and patient. I loved that they had one of the guides in the front and in the back to make sure us stragglers were doing ok. Well worth the money! Highly recommend!
Amazing kayak tour to Cumberland Island. Guide was very skilled and very informative! Had the best time! We saw dolphins, a loggerhead turtle and many horses out on the island. The walking tour of the island was also really great. Good pace and I learned a lot about the history of the island and all its inhabitants.
