Amber’s House of Dance has been a consistent positive presence in the community for years. The studio offers a great balance of solid dance training and a genuinely supportive atmosphere. The dancers get a strong foundation across styles, and the choreography always feels thoughtful and fun. Whether you're new to dance or have been doing it for years, it’s a place where people feel welcome and encouraged to grow. It’s rare to find a studio that blends professionalism with heart, and AHOD does both really well.

UPDATED REVIEW for the 2023-2024 season: This year brought a new opportunity for my oldest daughter: the competition team. She went in to it with not very good flexibility or being where she needed to be talent wise. I’m thankful Amber took a chance on her. My daughter has grown so much-in her talent, mental capacity, and her personality. I have asked my daughter multiple times over this last year what she loves most about dancing. She simply says the dance aspect of it. There’s so much more to it, but my daughter literally just simply enjoys dancing and learning choreography. She has impressed me with how much she had to take on being on the competition team this year. Her dedication got her through. She has such a passion for dance, and that’s what drives her. Whether the long hrs weekly at the studio, or being home, she’s constantly doing something dance related! My younger daughter also did dance this year, her first year. I’m not sure it’s a passion like her older sister, but she sure did love learning the routine and performing it on stage for end of year recital. Amber and her staff sure do invest in the girls that come in and I’ll be forever thankful for that. If you’re wondering if you should give it a try, do it! It’ll push you and your dancer beyond the limit you had set for yourself, but it’ll make you a better human! So, three years later, I’d thought I’d get back here and state some current comments about AHOD as we are still a part of her dance studio. Ms. Amber is actually my daughter’s current teacher for Jazz this year. She is so technical with the beats and rhythms. She pushes the kids to truly be their best. She is very much hands on. I’m impressed with all she does, and how she runs her studio on top of teaching classes as well. If you are going there for dance, you’re going places in LIFE! The extreme dedication, perseverance, and drive modeled for the kids (cause it starts with the instructors) is admirable. I have a lot of respect for AHOD. I like to see my girl werk at something I know she has a passion for-and that she does. Much respect, Amber, and thank you for all you do with the kids. We have enjoyed our experience there thus far. Small inside (to wait for your child (ren)), but great company. I can't see my daughter because she's in a closed room, but I feel confident she is learning and being taken care of at the same time. That's saying a lot for this control freak mama so good work creating a safe, clean, and fun atmosphere.

If I could give this organization zero stars, I absolutely would. The owners are disrespectful and threatening, mentioning “I’m going to punch you in the face” in circumstances completely unrelated to their services, unprovoked. The parents of these young dancers are inattentive and pay no mind to their safety, allowing the children to run about in streets! Not to mention, the moms involved with Amber’s House of Dance are unpleasant, demanding, and plain rude. As most dance institutions are, this is definitely a cliche environment and more so than I have ever experienced. My children will absolutely not participate in the disgust this “business” has shed on to this world. The hostility and lack of grace Amber’s House of Dance promotes is absolutely saddening. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you is not a mentality you will find at this company. I strongly urge you to seek elsewhere if you are looking to enroll your child into a dance program!
