Amazing Explorers Academy Prosper is a STEAM-focused private preschool at 1650 W Frontier Pkwy in Celina, open 6:30am-6:30pm and serving children from infancy through about age eight year-round. Separately from the preschool, its vacation and summer camp programs are built for 5- to 12-year-olds around themes such as amazing science, how to be an inventor, forensic science and engineering. What drew us here was that the director(s) Julie and Jaci have a background in behavioral development and you can tell they really want to partner with parents to help your child with whatever challenges they may be facing. For our daughter in particular, we felt tremendous support from AE with providing us with the resources and tools to help her succeed - they recommended OTs who come to the school to work with your child as well as their teacher to implement the same practices in the classroom as at home to keep things as consistent as possible. This has been the main reason we have continued to stay at AEA - the directors are fantastic and truly treat the kids/parents like family. The teachers we have had for our children have been wonderful and very invested in their development. We personally have had a great experience here and would recommend AEA to any family who is looking for a caring place for their children.
