A nearly century-old community theater in Alton that runs a summer kids theater camp culminating in a full youth production (recently Annie JR). Campers rehearse Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, over roughly two weeks and cover acting, singing, dance and stage movement plus backstage skills including lighting, sound, set design and costume design. The camp is open-enrollment for community youth and ends in public performances at the theater's Showplace.

★john daubmanWent to their valentines dinner and murder mystery what a flop it was ran out of some food had spaghetti noodles with no sauce to put on them. My food wasn't even Luke warm. Then they are having asigned seating but I was told they may not be able to accommodate me in a wheelchair. Thanks for taking the one thing I can still do away. So far not caring for this new director. Took my wife there for valentines day was the worst valentines day of our 37 years together

It is a small venue and there a just a few seats that a person with mobility issues would be able to access. The ramp from the parking lot to the door is quite long and steep near the top- but at least it is provided. They do need to clip the bushes as they make using the handrail difficult. The performance and workers are great!
