We enrolled our daughter at AAM since early this year for Piano & vocals classes. She did a few trials at different places before deciding on joining AAM with Ms. Lou Sullivan. We are so glad she did since in Ms. Lou our daughter found her perfect coach. We are really happy with how quickly she has progressed. A big shout out to Ms. Lou who is sweet and patient, yet challenges our daughter to her potential and has helped her gain confidence and develop her love for singing and music. We have loved AAM and Ms Lou and appreciate all the other staff there as well.

We have been at AAM for three years, and our two kids absolutely love their voice lessons! We have also experienced choir and summer programs which are also excellent. Our voice teacher is Ms. Hannah, who is a wonderful, high-energy teacher who uses so much positive reinforcement. I really appreciate how open she is and will happily teach any genre based on the student's interest. Since I don't know much about Western singing, I fully trust her guidance. She works directly with my kids to make important musical decisions and always keeps me beautifully in the loop. She also times things perfectly, entering them into competitions when they are ready and if they have the desire to do so. AAM as a whole is fantastic. We have also had lessons with Ms. Kaya and Ms. Ginger, who are both excellent, and the office staff are very good, super friendly and helpful. A personal super plus for me are the two recitals they host each year at a venue super close to music school, which give the kids such valuable stage exposure, and also turns into a community event. This is that rare extracurricular my kids look forward to going to, rain or shine.. and clearly brings a lot of joy. We are so lucky to have found AAM and Ms. Hannah!

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Almaden Academy of Music, especially with Ginger. Our daughter has been taking piano lessons with Ginger for the past year and absolutely loves her classes. Ginger is patient, kind, and very encouraging, and she makes learning piano enjoyable for young children. One thing we really appreciate is that after every lesson, our daughter comes home even more motivated to practice. We’ve seen a big improvement not only in her piano skills, but also in her confidence and love for music. We’ve had such an incredible experience with piano teacher Mi Kim at AAM. She is teaching all three of our kids and has done an outstanding job with each of them. Mi is incredibly detailed, patient, and wonderful with children. She strikes the perfect balance with homework and consistently encourages the kids in such a positive way, reminding them that practice leads to progress. She has helped all our kids fall deeply in love with piano and they never want to miss a lesson with her~ One thing we especially appreciate is how thoughtfully she worked with our oldest to help her catch up to her younger siblings. Thanks to Mi’s encouragement and teaching style, she’s now thriving and genuinely loves playing piano. Mi Kim is truly an exceptional teacher, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. AAM as a whole has also been fantastic for our family. Hannah and her team are amazing — they create an environment where learning feels joyful while still helping each child progress at the pace that’s right for them. We are so grateful to have found this program and highly recommend it to any family looking for quality music instruction for their kids.

We are so happy we found AAM! We first heard about them through Graystone Elementary when we moved to the area, and it has been such a great experience. After my daughter showed interest in drums during beginner band, we reached out for private lessons and were paired with Eli. He has been wonderful—his teaching and encouragement have really helped her develop a genuine love for drumming. ​With his guidance, she moved to Advanced Band at school, and next week she’ll be the sole drummer onstage for her Spring recital! A huge shout out to the Director, Ms. Hannah, as well as the front-end team for making everything run so smoothly and being so welcoming.
