Alamo Heights Gymnastics Academy is a San Antonio gymnastics and power-tumbling/trampoline gym that also runs cheer, dance and adult drop-in classes, and has taught children from babies to teens since 2008. Rather than a full-day summer camp, its site lists short themed camps and clinics: a Princess Camp for ages 3-6 and an AHGA Summer Spectacular, plus enrichment programs offered during summer and school breaks. The site does not publish camp hours, dates or a general camp age range, so the format cannot be confirmed from the page. Parents should call to confirm what is running this summer.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Alamo Heights Gymnastics Academy directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleWe are so grateful to have found this gym. We were looking for a place that would grow our daughter as an athlete while also keeping her love for the sport alive and well. AHGA truly goes above and beyond for its athletes. The coaches are supportive, encouraging, and dedicated to helping each gymnast grow not only in skill, but in confidence as well. Accomplishments—big and small—are genuinely celebrated, which creates such a positive and motivating environment. What really sets this gym apart is how involved the owner is; you can tell they truly care about the gymnasts, the families, and the overall culture of the program. Their hands-on presence and commitment make a huge difference and help create a place where gymnasts feel supported, challenged, and proud to be part of the team.
We’ve been a part of AHGA for over four years. My oldest daughter joined the rec gymnastics program and has now transitioned to the competition team this year. Last year, my youngest daughter, who was three at the time, started the rec program. The coaches here are incredibly talented and dedicated to my girls, even those they don’t directly interact with. They have high expectations for the girls to learn and grow, but they also firmly believe in nurturing a love for gymnastics. The owner and all the staff members are wonderful and always ready to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. I am so grateful to have found this gym.
AHGA has been amazing! My daughter is has been with them for 3 years, (shes 5) we started with Coach Bri, the mommy and me class! Coach Bri is absolutely amazing, she is so good with the littles! AHGA has been amazing, my husband and I arent from here and we have little family here! They have become like family to us, they do so many things for the kid's (and families) camps, after-school programs, games etc. In fact, I dropped my daughter off for camp today! They have a very safe and structured program for kids! I feel so very comfortable with AHGA would and do recommend them to all my friends! I have had several people start taking their children there! 10/10 recommend!!! I have to shout out all of the coaches I have encountered, they are absolutely amazing - Coach Bri, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Mandy, Caleb! Thats just off the top of my head! Not to mention the Owner, Jenny! She is thee Best!!!!!
I signed my kids up for Elf Camp and was wildly unimpressed. The instructor was obviously not happy to be teaching children, the gym is not in Alamo Heights and dingy. The flier promised tumbling, and other activities. It was so boring, I stayed the entire time because I wasn’t going to leave my children with a grouchy “elf “ and another child to supervise them. There majority of the time spent they sang a song or played a connect four. What a massive waste of time and money. Additionally no communication to bring a snack which left two little girls sobbing because they didn’t bring food. While their instructor watched and ate a box of scones in front of them. I can not believe a children’s camp wouldn’t have extra snacks or volunteer $2 to buy two bags of chips for a child. There was a little girl locked in the bathroom and the instructor never noticed she was missing. She came out sobbing, the front desk lady found her. Don’t leave your kids here!
We originally started our daughter at another gym, but she began progressing faster than we anticipated. That led us to search for a program that could challenge her and support her growth — and that’s when we found Alamo. Right away, we could tell this place was different. The coaches have high expectations, but they also care deeply about the girls. They're tough when they need to be, but always encouraging. It feels like they really want the best for every gymnast. Practices are tough and demanding, but the results speak for themselves. The girls consistently perform at the top of the leaderboard, and the dedication from both the athletes and coaches is evident. We've just completed our first year at Alamo, and I’m ecstatic about the progress our daughter has made — not just in skill, but in confidence and love for the sport. She’s formed amazing friendships and looks forward to every practice. As a parent, you honestly couldn’t ask for more. Five HUGE stars. P.S. Coach Natasha is the best 💯
