Act Out Theatre Group is a workshop-based youth theatre at 802 South Main Street in Taylor serving actors from age 4 through high school seniors. Its summer theatre camp for ages 4-12 runs a themed week (recently a pirate treasure-hunt week, July 6-10) as a full day 9am to 4pm, with morning-only and afternoon-only half-day options. Teens attend a two-week intensive, 9am to 5pm, spending mornings on theatre craft and afternoons rehearsing a show such as Alice by Heart, at a listed tuition of $275, and the company also runs a free evening summer workshop for ages 8 through graduating seniors.
