Camp options include preschool and pre-K music camps, instrument exploration, rock band, pop music, songwriting, and movement-based music-and-dance camps. Year-round the studio runs infant and toddler music classes, private lesson preparatory classes, after-school music clubs and private instrumental lessons; founder Katie Kraft started the organization in 2009 and opened The Barn in 2024.

We started with Tots with Tempo group classes when my daughter was three years old, and she adored them. This past summer, I enrolled her in a week-long summer camp at The Barn. She didn't know any of the other children and was pretty nervous beforehand, but she came home with a giant smile on her face and a new best buddy the first day--then she cried when the camp was over! It was during that week that I decided that we had to hold her 7th birthday party at The Barn, which we did yesterday. It was a BLAST! We were lucky to have Katie and her new assistant Jonathan (who was also awesome) running the show. Katie makes the process so easy for the hosting parents, and she is simply magic with the children. She's very gifted as a musician, but she also strikes the perfect tone when wrangling excited children and keeping things running smoothly. The Barn is a great place to hold a party where older children can be dropped off; the kids are in excellent hands the whole time. But it's also fun to watch them play and perform! We can't wait to attend summer camp next year. Katie and her team are simply wonderful.
