Powered by GoogleFrom a 5-Star Start to a 1-Star Nightmare We originally loved this center thanks to Ms. Amy, an amazing Pre-K teacher who had my grandson learning at a kindergarten level. However, management quickly ruined the experience. Learning Limitations: The director (Ms. Nicole) stopped my grandson from receiving advanced material because we "only paid for Pre-K," actively stunting his growth. Unqualified Staff: When Ms. Amy left, she was replaced by the owner's daughter, who has zero teaching certifications or degrees. Disruptive Environment: The unqualified replacement was forced to babysit the director’s 3-year-old (violating their own age policy). The toddler's daily meltdowns ruined the classroom environment. Failed Results: Because actual teaching stopped, my grandson failed his kindergarten assessment. When we asked for a summer packet to help him catch up, we were told she "didn't have time." Highly Unprofessional: The owner deletes bad reviews on her website, threatens parents with her attorney, and sends harassing text messages to my daughter over this feedback. At $550 a month for just two days a week, this is not a school; it is an overpriced daycare. Do your research and take your children to a facility with credentialed teachers who actually want your kids to succeed.
We had a great experience with my daughter attending tutoring weekly . Started from Nicole accessing what I was looking for my daughter being tutored . Then connecting my daughter with an awesome tutor that meet her needs, Mr. Jaye was very knowledgeable with my daughters challenges with her Geometry . My daughter grades went up to an A , since attending tutoring sessions. We are very pleased
This really seemed like a good place for my daughter, but it’s really overpriced for no progress for her time being there. She showed no progress within her math. She didn’t receive her ending assessment as she was supposed to. It seemed like they make big promises when they want you to pay for the sessions, but there wasn’t really any progress and I kind of feel robbed book and pay for this at your own risk.
Nicole and her staff are great. I sent my son for kindergarten prep camp and my daughter for reading tutoring and i can see the difference with both. I can truly feel the passion Nicole has for teaching each student. Everything is always prompt and organized. I love the one on one sessions and that you’ll always know exactly what your child is learning. I would recommend village learning center to anyone looking for educational needs
My son attended A Village Learning Center this summer for camp. He was excited to attend everyday and had fun while learning! He enjoyed the hands on activities and I appreciated that the teacher worked with him one on one individualizing instruction to meet his needs. All students are assessed prior to the start of camp to see where they need help. I appreciated that conferences were held at the end of camp to show student outcomes. The owner Nicole really cares about the students and I appreciate that she approached me about helping my son more this coming school year. I look forward to continuing our involvement with A Village Learning Center and working together to help my son progress.
